MJ news plugin 1.0 script description:

The MJ news plugin allows webmasters to manage news items separately from their blog articles.

The plugin adds its own special custom post type where news and news categories are kept separate from the blog core.

Adding and editing news items can be done as with any other blog post, via the WP dashboard.

Showing the news items on the front-end can be done via the [mjnews] shortcode.

By default 4 news items are showed and the rest are paginated. This limit can easily be changed for bigger news lists.

Installation:

Unpack and upload it to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory.
Activate the plugin through the 'Plugins' menu in WordPress.
